Kanqal(Globe Thistle) flowers can be a good producer of honey due to their richness in nectar and pollen on the plains.Kangal flowers with various colour in the purple and blue spectrum colour with the production of abundant nectar and pollen is very important in beekeeping . The honey produced from it has a pleasant taste, mild aroma and many medicinal properties.In late winter in Azerbaijan, our beekeepers place their colonies next to the identified pastures to collect Kanqal honey.
This honey has a light color and has a good aroma .
